International School of Luxembourg: Collective bargaining agreement renewed for the ISL employees
The collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for the employees of International School of Luxembourg (ISL) was signed today and thous the dispute before National Conciliation Office could be settled.
OGBL welcomes the fact that ISL remains interested in pursuing the discussion about the trade unions’ most recent proposal regarding the salary scales. As further in-person discussions couldn’t take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ISL proposed and the trade unions accepted a short-term CBA with the exact same conditions as the current one and adapted to the new index and the modified legal provisions.
This will provide for staff security as well as time to complete negotiations.
This new CBA will enter into force on 20 April 2020 and will expire on 31 August 2021.
OGBL and its delegates wish to thank the ISL staff for their enormous support and hard work during these difficult times.

International School of Luxembourg: Convention collective de travail renouvelée pour les salariés de l’ISL
La convention collective de travail (CCT) pour les salariés de l’International School of Luxembourg (ISL) a été signée aujourd’hui. Le litige vant l’Office National de Conciliation a ainsi pu être réglé.
L’OGBL se réjouit du fait que l’ISL reste intéressée à poursuivre la discussion sur la dernière proposition syndicale concernant les barèmes de salaires. Étant donné que d’autres discussions en personne n’ont pas pu avoir lieu en raison de la pandémie du COVID-19, l’ISL a proposé — et les syndicats ont accepté — une CCT à court terme reprenant les mêmes conditions que la CCT actuelle et adaptée au nouvel indice et aux dispositions légales modifiées. Cela garantira la sécurité du personnel ainsi que le temps de conclure les négociations.
Cette nouvelle convention collective entrera en vigueur le 20 avril 2020 et expirera le 31 août 2021.
L’OGBL et ses délégués souhaitent remercier le personnel de l’ISL pour leur énorme soutien et leur travail acharné en ces temps difficiles.
